Curate + Imbibe with a Spring 2018 Brandboard that's Inspired by London Fashion Week
written by Toni Osmundson
A few weeks ago I was asked to create a brand board for a close friend of mine. She wanted something that would incorporate bright + warm colors, without going as drastic as neon. As I racked my brain to figure out how the board would look without throwing some hot pink or bright fuchsia in there, I turned to my favorite source for brand inspiration - Pinterest.
Last Fall’s London Fashion Week introduced the Spring 2018 color palettes with tons of pink. With all the pink on the runway what actually drew my eye were the muted colors like ash rose and blooming dahlia. Pantone released their color palette for the coming spring full of the beachy, warm bright colors I’m absolutely loving.
Here are some of those colors that inspired my 2018 Spring Mood Board.
Sophisticated yet earthy Ash Rose introduces a new dimension; transforming this muted pink shade into a more grounded hue.
With its seemingly suggestive scent, the subtly alluring Blooming Dahlia beckons us with its understated appeal.
The navy like Sailor Blue anchors the palette.
With its gentle petal like touch, delicate and ephemeral Almost Mauve adds a sense of nostalgia to the Spring 2018 palette.
Warm Sand is a comforting neutral shade that effortlessly connects the seasons.
